Warriors Gate is the South Korean chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Located out of Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, we offer people a chance to relive pre-17th century world history through armed combat, arts, crafts, music, and more.

Participants are invited to don armor and participate in both heavy and rapier armed combat.

Arts and Sciences
In SCA we study and practice traditional arts and crafts from around the world. From sewing to leatherworking, cooking and brewing, calligraphy and illumination. There are options for almost every type of crafting.

Armed Combat
Fighter practice is held every other Sunday at the NCOA Academy on Camp Humphreys (Building 6120) starting at 1300. Check the Facebook page or calendar for event information.
Several sets of loaner armor and weapons for both heavy and rapier combat are available. Interested participants (18+) are invited to show up and try it out. If you would like to try fighting you need to bring a photo ID, groin protection (cups are sold at the PX), and a willingness to learn.

ARTS AND SCIENCES
Stronghold of Warriors Gate as well as the Barony of the Far West host classes, arts and artisans meetups, and competitions. Whether you are interested in traditional crafts (blacksmithing, leatherworking, embroidery, and more), costuming, heraldry, performing arts, or cooking and brewing there is something in the SCA for you.
